This is an overview of the LAQ Neve bento mesh head for Second Life avatars. Almost all the information also applies to other LAQ bento heads, however the photos are only of Neve, and the list is what comes with Neve. Other heads may have slightly different content. HUD
I know I’ve said it multiple times, but it bears repeating: The HUD is NOT included with the purchase of the head. It is a separate L$1500 purchase. I’ve included an image of it here since owning it brings the head’s options more in line with other brands and is worth considering when comparing.
Pros, Neutral Notes, and Cons
Other things of note to consider that haven’t been mentioned above.
Pros
- If you want more than one head the L$1500 price tag is attractive. (Note: I do recommend purchasing the HUD if you don’t have it already. This would make the total cost L$3000 for your first head plus the HUD and then L$1500 for each head after.)
Neutral Notes
- Skins are not included.
Cons
- This is may be a discontinued line. Don’t expect any updates.
- The head doesn’t come with the HUD, so that must be purchased separately. If you already own the LAQ Bento Head HUD it can be used with all the bento heads, so you only need to purchase it once.
- A separate HUD is available instead if you only want the ability to clear layers, nothing else.
- BOM isn’t native, you must pick up the free HUD in store to make the head BOM compatible.

Good news. The price of the HUD is now 375, and so is the price of each head.
I’m a bit late approving your comment, sorry about that! Just to confirm for anyone reading, this pricing was for Black Friday and is not applicable at this time. But it’s a great reminder that if you’re looking for a head around a typical sale time like Black Friday that it’s worth checking for sales! Thanks, Aislin!

Yup! The current heads have been sitting on sale at L$15 for a short bit. Since we don’t have time frame for how long the sale lasts (aside from just knowing that it’s before the new head or heads) I haven’t changed the price on the listing.
