Found In Real Life: ft. Alt by Truth, Lapointe & Bastchild

Have you ever found a product in Second Life and really wanted to find something similar to wear off the grid? That’s what the Found In Real Life series is all about! While we know we likely won’t find exact versions of products this series will focus on looks that are pretty close. Keep reading to find not only the Second Life credits but also links to the featured off grid products on Amazon.

Today we’ve found comparable products for the top and pants from Alt by Truth and the necklace by Lapointe & Bastchild.

Comparisons

We found this faux shark tooth necklace to be similar to the Shark Tooth Leather Cord Choker by Lapointe & Bastchild. While the real life version seems longer in the image it’s actually adjustable and can be worn at the same length as shown on the image to the right. It’s also a little more decorative than the on grid version, but it gets bonus points for being faux.

The Mischief Layered Jacket from Alt by Truth is one piece, but that’s not always functional for off grid use. As such we actually paired two items with it. While there are hundreds of dragon shirts you can find, the coloration, positioning, and pose of this dragon made it a good match. On the right is a 3/4th sleeve cardigan. Of course it’s not the same material nor that perfect length, but we can’t all have Truth as our personal designer, can we?

While their use is a contested topic, leggings are popular whether you’re working out or not. Our copycat leggings for Alt by Truth‘s Flex Leggings actually have a sheer portion to break up the plain look. It’s not as thick as the divide on grid, but they still look really comfy!
