Fantasy Avatar: The Demoness

Not all Second Life avatars have to be human. In fact, non human avatars are a common sight in Second Life. Today I’ll be showing you a beautiful demoness. The best part about making many fantasy humanoids is that they can build off the human base you may already be using!
Shoutout to hhhnnnnnggggggg for inspiring this post! The redditor commented on a post about Second Life Avatar Questions and mentioned he or she had purchased a set of bento demon wings. That in addition to a short conversation about fantasy avatars gave me the little push to start showing off some non human characters.

Get the Demoness Look

Since most players likely have the basics they enjoy using (such as a body, feet, hands, head) I haven’t included those in this section. I used mostly products that I already had, however a few new purchases were made. If you’d like to copy the style completely you can find full credits at the bottom of the post. Feel free to click any image for a larger version to check out the detail.

Wings and Tail- EVolved creatures

A second life demoness shows off her wings and tail by evolved creations

EVolved creatures creates bento fantasy enhancements for avatars. At the time of this posting the current selection is small, but each item is versatile, great quality, and beautiful. They currently offer the following products:

  1. Wings
    • Bat
    • Fae
  2. Tails
    • Demon
    • Scorpion
  3. Body Parts
    • Mer Membranes
    • Rakashir Ears
  4. Body Changers
    • Mermaid Tail

They also have a bento fish tail available for 10L$. All items aside from the fish tail and Rakashir ears have demos that are well worth playing with. The included HUDs have seemingly limitless customization options including RGB input for perfect color matching. For those of you who enjoy making your own textures there are modifiable versions included as well. I highly recommend checking them out if you’re in the market for a unique fantasy style. For this look I used their bento bat wings and bento demon tail. I look forward to trying their other creations as well as any future releases.

EVolved creatures products come with a MOD version that can be copied and modified but not transferred.

A second life demoness shows off her FATEeyes by damien fateEyes – FATE

FATE products have been a staple for many fantasy and role playing communities. Damien Fate makes clothing, avatar posers (such as eyes and bento hands), and other products many players find helpful. I’m wearing his mesh FATEeyes which have a very in depth customization HUD. It was easy to adjust the pupil shape and iris color to match the personality of a demon.

A second life demoness shows off her 7 Deadly Skins skin

Skin – 7 Deadly s{K}ins

7 Deadly s{K}ins is known for their realism for both male and female skins. They have a huge selection of human skins, but they offer fantasy options as well. The fantasy skins range from greys perfect for drow to purples and pinks that would make a wonderful Night Elf. This skin, Vision (purple), can be found on the second floor of their in world store.

You may notice the difference in skin color between these images and the full images below. This is entirely due to lighting which varies wherever you may go in the game. You can manually set lighting so you see things a specific way, however this doesn’t alter how others see you. This skin looks gorgeous in all types of lighting I’ve used it in.

A second life demoness shows off her TRUTH Rogue hair

Hair – TRUTH

TRUTH is arguably the most well known player in the hair market. Providing high quality hair for around a decade, TRUTH has a style for everyone. This edgy hair used for my demoness is called Rogue. I used the Blacks & Whites pack for the black with purple tips. This hair also comes with a gas mask I look forward to using.

Clothing – BlueberryA second life demoness shows off her Blueberry Angelberry bra and panties

Known for high quality products and amazing gacha items, Blueberry is one of Second Life’s top clothing creators. The bra and panties I’m wearing are part of the Angelberry products created for the Epiphany gacha event in early 2017. They are both the rare color Shine. The gacha machines for Angelberry are still available in Blueberry’s in world store.
